Served here with butterflied pork chops, these were grilled
directly and then topped with applesauce mixed with a little melted butter,
cinnamon, and brown sugar.

Brushed with olive oil and seasoned with a little salt and pepper. The
bottoms of the sliced were cut flat so they could sit on the grill from that
side as well.

Arranged on the grill with the pork chops

Mostly done. Nice little bit of char on the outside.

Topped with the spiced apple sauce and plated with a chop.
