Brandied Sirloin Tip

Saw a 7.5 pound sirloin tip roast at Costco.  Having never made one before, I figured it was worth a try.  Soaked it for about a day and a half in a brandy based marinade.  Got the K up to about 600 and seared it on all sides.  Dropped the temp down to about 350-400 and converted to indirect heat along with some pecan for smoke.  Cooked for about 2 hours and 45 minutes until the internal temp reached 150 (family preference).  Good flavor.

Just about ready to come off.

Pink in the middle and more well done on the ends.

Served with a little grilled sesame asparagus.
