From Steve Raichlen's Beer Can Chicken cookbook. Posted
here as the reigning champion of my biggest disaster ever. That has
nothing to do with the recipe itself (which I will some day try again), but
instead with a couple of big mistakes on my part. First mistake, I had a
couple of big junks of mesquite left in the grill from last time. Mesquite
and eggs and biscuits are not really the best combo. Second mistake, I
filled everything way too full and they all overflowed into the fire and
produced more way nasty smoke.

The oranges are juiced and the shells scraped out. The juice is saved for
drinking with breakfast.

Half of the shells are filled with biscuit mix, and the other half with a
scrambled egg mix. Notice I said "filled".

On the K ready to start. I did them at about 375 dome temp but should have
gone a little higher. They took much longer than expected.

The biscuits got real big and flowed and tipped over. I tried to scrape it
off as it grew but much of it went into the fire. Next time, I'd only put
in about half as much biscuit dough.

All done, with juice and ready for eatin' (or in this case, throwing it away).
It sure looks good though doesn't it?
