The best way to make burgers. First, make some bacon
onion butter (from The Barbecue Bible Sauces, Rubs, and Marinades book).

Make two thin patties of burger and put the bacon onion butter in between.

Put a hole in the middle of each one to keep them from getting fat in the
middle. Sprinkle your favorite rub on the outside.

Toss them on the smoker for about an hour or so. These are about half way
done.

Finished smoking and waiting for the grill to heat up. I just left the lid
on the K open and it got there in just a few minutes.

Finished getting that nicely seared outside. Cheese melted and ready to
go.

Finished and served with chips and Asian slaw.
